I have been a shooting for four decades and working as a self employed content creator for over thirty years. If you were to ask my what I enjoy the most I would have to say its a tie between Photography, Video, Facilitating Breathwork, creating a #1 App in the App store and running Men’s Groups around the world. I have the good fortune to have lots of energy and enthusiasm. Doing just one thing would get me bored pretty quickly. I especially like helping people and producing beautiful content. My style has always been described as clean, classic, contemporary and sometimes sexy. Most of the images we find on this site have a range of over 20 years. Some captured last month and some shot in the 80s. My goal is for you to never know unless its necessary. I shot with film cameras for almost twenty years. That training gave me an edge in regards to being trusted with big budget campaigns. Lighting, composition and working with big teams was common place back then. Now content is way easier in most situations. The thing that hasn’t changed id the importance of composition, styling and capturing the right moment at the right time. This site is an overview of my many years as a Photographer, DP and Director. In addition you will find information on my Men’s Group and Breathwork facilitaion. I have selected images for this site that I love as well as content that holds great memories for me. From celebrities to my own children and family photos. I have traveled the world with my cameras and have experiences that exceed anything I could have imagined as a kid when I first started shooting. I have always had a fascination with combining technology as well. In the late 200o’s I developed the Plotagraph photo animation and ended up building my own app which went to #1 in the App Store as well as being the only featured app for the release of the iPhone X. Little did my team and I know that Apple ultimately tried buying my company for pennys on the doolar and when we declined their offer they systematically destroyed everything my team and I built. I am a very positive person by nature and love creating content as well as next generation apps. I am currently compiling eight years of data to show what is really happening in the tech industry to help other developers and inventors. The Plotagraph App is currently offline. Tedx • The future of photography
Eleven years ago I was invited to speak at a TedX Conference in the United States. I had two concepts at the time and had to choose one. My first one speech was my “Artist, Manager, Pirate” theory. That was my speech on the different personalities and ways I see people and their potential. The other pitch was my “Future of Photography” speech. I ended up delivering the latter. It was relevant at the time because I had developed a camera system and technique to shoot not only objects but people in 3D and creating beautiful 3D sculptures of my 120 shots that we would stitch together. Elements Art Project
My current “Elements” project is one of my favorite art projects I have worked on to date. Stay tuned for Gallery Show dates & locations
The amount of pure creativity and surprises that comes from nature is incredible. I won my first State award in 1986 for photography in the Special Effects category. I was playing with a technique in the darkroom where I would print half of the negative, then flip the same negative and dry mount the prints together. It took me thirty years later to realize that going back full circle could be such a rewarding thing. Now I’ve shot from coast to coast and multiple continents to produce a body of work I am really proud of. I call it the “Elements” project. It includes Earth, Water, Fire, Air (Clouds) and our interactions with each element. I rarely know what will be hidden in each element and what comes through when the photos are mirrored together in post. My technique doesn’t involve much work other than traditional burning and dodging. Very similar to what you will find in the darkroom with burning and dodging. Content creation has been the foundation of my life and career. Working as a Photographer and Director primed me and helped me to have the skills to create my “Dragons Breath” style of Men’s Group which also incorporates Breathwork into the program as one of the core features. Studying human behavior has always been an interest of mine. The past several years I have focused more on whats happening between the masculine and feminine in modern society. Men are bottling up so many emotions and are being told by the press that masculinity is the cause of societies problems. I have created a program to help men step into their true selves and also release pent up anger, fear and sadness. Since its inception a few years ago I have opened the doors to their wives and girlfriends for special sessions and the results have been nothing short of incredible.
